What Is Cancer Real Survival Rate?

February 28, 2010

If you talk about the circumstances and conditions about the cancer you may come to conclusions that cancer is curable and I agree on this point because cancers can be preventable and if in any case the cancer is diagnosis then it can be curable. But it depends on the stages of cancer. Most of the time, the cancers are divided into four to five stages starting from stage zero to stage five.

The stages lie between zero to three are curable but stages from four to five which are considered as the late stages are not treatable.

The stage zeros is totally curable because it is the initial stage where the growth of the cancer tumors had began and it has not make the strong roots in the cells, and this can be seen in pancreas cancer treatment when it happens at the same level. That is why the surgeries and radiation and laser therapies can cure them. Even the medicines and vitamins can help to cure it.. The stage second and stage thirds are also curable from sixty to eighty percent because in these stages still the tumors are growing and they had not moved towards the other body organs. So what is cancer real surviva rate after this stages?

The tumor is within the range of single organ that has cancer/ here again the surgical and radiation therapies can remove the cancers. But the fourth and fifth stages of cancers are not curable and chances of death ratios are about eighty to ninety nine percent. In the later stages of cancers, the tumors have grown enough to reach the other body organ that is why it becomes unable to control the expanding roots and finally the infected area gets expired and chances of survivals finishes and not even chemotherapy treatment can really make a difference for patients.

It is really fruitful to get diagnosis of the cancer at right time because if you caught the cancer at early stage then doctors can guarantee you the life but if it is not then you have no chances of survival.
