It’s Possible To Visit Quite A Few TV Cartoon Characters At SoCal Theme Parks
March 29, 2010
In recent months I’ve had the chance to go to most of the seven major theme parks in So Cal. One thing I found is that you can enter into the world of many favorite animated cartoon characters if you enjoy that sort of thing.
We know where to find Mickey Mouse and all his Disney friends-in Anaheim. There are a few really good websites with helpful information about planning a Disneyland vacation. Who doesn’t love the wonderful job Disney has done in creating a fictional universe of lovable characters?
Nearby Knott’s Berry Farm has its own crew of lovable characters with Lucy, Snoopy and the Peanuts team at Camp Snoopy. Charlie Brown, Linus and the others fit nicely into the personality of Knott’s Berry Farm.
Universal Studios up in Hollywood would be a good next stop in your vacation, where you can chill with the likes of Homer Simpson, the Flintstones and Rubbles, Betty Boop and Spiderman. Pick up some useful information and tips about Universal Studios from the SoCal Vacation Guru.
The final stop in the character caravan would be up I-5 an hour or so, to Six Flags Magic Mountain. Thrill rides and roller coasters are perhaps the most notable feature of Six Flags amusement park. It does not take long to figure out that the Looney Tunes people are in charge of public relations.
Here and there around the park you will find some of your favorites, like Daffy, Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam. To provide additional fun for small children, there is an area set aside for them, with a strong emphasis on the characters (not everybody wants to just hit the roller coasters). It is fun for kids and adults alike to meet these well-behaved celebrities, and you can find them at various spots on the Mountain.
